Wear natural fiber, light tropical clothing throughout the year, with slightly warmer garments for December-February evenings. For men, the Filipino Barong, a native embroidered shirt worn loose over pants, is acceptable office or formal wear, depending on the fabric. Cut-off short pants or sleeveless T-shirts should never be worn when visiting churches, mosques or temples. Always remember to bring along a pack of tissue paper, as public toilets almost never have any.
